Advanced Dance

Designed for dedicated dancers ready to take their training to the next level, Advanced Dance is an accelerated class for students ages 12–18 with at least five years of prior dance experience. This high-level class challenges dancers to refine their technique, expand their artistry, and develop the versatility needed to excel across multiple styles.

Throughout the semester, dancers will train in a variety of genres, including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, hip-hop, and other specialty styles, with an emphasis on strong technical execution, musicality, performance quality, strength, flexibility, and precision.

Students will be challenged through advanced combinations, choreography, and conditioning while developing confidence, discipline, and a professional work ethic. This class is ideal for dancers who are serious about their training and are interested in preparing for auditions, performances or future opportunities in the performing arts.

Prerequisite: Students must be 12–18 years old and have a minimum of five years of dance experience. Instructor approval or placement may be required to ensure the class is the best fit for each dancer.
